RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY

At Move Different Kenya, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. Our refund and returns policy extends for 20 days from the date of purchase. After this period, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unused
  • In the original condition as received
  • In the original packaging

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Certain health and personal care items

Return Requirements

All returns require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not return items directly to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in the following situations:

  • Books showing obvious signs of use
  • Opened media items (CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, vinyl records)
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to our error)
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refund Process

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you by email of receipt and the approval or rejection status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company to verify processing
  3. Contact your bank to confirm posting
  4. If still unresolved, please contact us

Sale Items

Only regularly priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged. For exchanges of the same item, please contact us.

Gift Returns

  • If an item was marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the return value
  • If not marked as a gift or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves before giving it to you, the refund will go to the original purchaser

Shipping Returns

You are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount.

Delivery times for exchanged products vary by location. For valuable items, we recommend using trackable shipping or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee the receipt of returned items.
